Darja Fišer is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Translation at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She defended her PhD in 2009 with a thesis on automatic approaches to semantic lexicon construction. She has taught courses on corpus linguistics, lexical semantics, translation tools as well as English text formation and translation practice. Her research interests include human language technologies and computational lexical semantics.
At TransTech 2014 she will be giving a course on Machine Translation and Post-Editing MT.
